To myself (who does alot of trading to supply my Guild with resources) , a trade is a trade is a trade. The FoE Trade helper is a good advisor, but not the be all end all to trading. My advice would be this: 1) If your Guild only accpets "fair trades" using the calculator, and you want to make a 'profit", join a different Guild.
To calculate the number of threads per millimeter (mm), you need to know the thread pitch (the distance between individual threads) and the unit of measurement for the thread pitch. The formula is: For example, if the thread pitch is 0.5 mm, then the number of threads per mm would be 1 / 0.5 mm = 2 threads per mm.

When a quest tells you to produce 60 goods - you don't need to produce that. Just do a circular trade. Let's say you have 30 iron and 30 cloth. In your guild's trade thread, have 2 trades set up: 30 iron for 30 cloth and 30 cloth for 30 iron. Boom - as soon as someone accepts both those trades your quest is completed.

If you don't get it , just post a 6 era differential trade and see the result , The fair trade link was given through FOE . Henceforth " fair " . Now , it seems not to exist , or be of any consequence . That is what was considered fair , and adopted by several guilds , and , still is . 2 for 1 or 1 for 2 works for adjacent eras , but , when I
if for instance you have a surplus of ebony or iron age good: trading same age goods = 1:1. 10 ebony for 10 jewels iron age goods for iron age goods. trading down to previous age = 1:2. 10 ebony for 20 wine or iron age goods for bronze age goods. trading up to next age = 2:1.
May 31, 2012. #2. Forge points are used for research and if you want to trade (only if you are the one who is accepting the offer. You can see them up on the screen, left from coins and supplies and you get one forge point every hour, and you can buy them with coins or with diamonds. Last edited by a moderator: May 31, 2012.
Most of the "Fair Trade Calculators" simply say that Colonial Age goods cost 9,600 Coins and 9,600 Supplies to run one 24-hour production of 20 goods, and the Modern Era goods cost 19,200 Coins and 19,200 to run one 24-hour production of 20 goods. And they calculate trading ratios based only on those numbers.
Obviously it's much more efficient to make goods of your own age and trade down than it is to make lower-age goods yourself, as you don't need to run production buildings of all ages. The motive is to save space - I always 'upgrade' my buildings when I get to a new age and rely on trading and special buildings for lower-age supplies.
Jan 15, 2016. #1. As many of you know the introduction of higher ages saw a change in ratio of value of goods produced comparing one age with another. True value of goods between consecutive higher ages was no longer 1:2 or 2:1, but, decreased as you went up the ages until you get to trading between Contemporary and Tomorrow where they revert

Jun 26, 2017. #2. All goods of an age cost the same to produce, all cost the same population, what you get a boost for is just good or bad luck of the draw, depending on how you view it, but fair trades are 1:1 same age, 1:2 trading down an age, 2:1 trading up an age and never skipping an age. If you think goods buildings are unfair at low ages
